UPDATED POST: Here is the video from my JUMP!
Today my wife and I are going to jump off a building
We’re just pulling into Auckland, NZ, where they have what’s called the “Sky Tower Jump”…
We’ll be falling at over 50 miles/hour from 629 feet (192 meters…yes I am slowly getting accustomed to the metric system)
…and I’m SO EXCITED!! (I’m hoping I can record it and post the video when we get back!)
But just a few years ago when I went sky-diving out of a plane for the first time – I was TERRIFIED!
The whole ride up in the plane, my body was shaking …and I ALMOST didn’t jump….
Question: Have you ever been at a new jumping off point in your life that SCARED you to death?
Whether it’s a new job, or a new business, or a new move, or experience?
Because I get it – I’ve been there too – many, many times.
It can be HARD and SCARY to step out into the void, to put yourself out of your comfort zone – and CHANGE and TRY something NEW!
What always helps me (and might help you)
Is to have SOMEONE who can SUPPORT with your leap of faith – someone who is behind you, who has maybe been there before, who believes in you and is there to support you!
(that’s why my wife’s coming with me today as we do the sky tower jump TOGETHER – she’s always wanted to go sky diving, but couldn’t ever get up the nerve to go – so maybe if I’m there with her today, I can help her out!)

PS: I am doing something later in the year that is gonna be a big TEST for me too – nothing as thrill-seeking as what you did but I’m still a bit in awe about what I am contemplating. And I’m gonna do it in Adelaide. So if you are still there I’ll let you know when I am coming over and you might be able to watch.
Yeah it was pretty crazy – but a BLAST! (And only about $200 per person…)
